Imagine if you told someone to “have a blessed day’ and  YOU could help make sure that it  actually  happened? There are women and children in our community who live with violence at home every day.  You have met them……..at church, at the store, at the movies, in the park.  The face of domestic violence and sexual assault is present.

 

Remember those days when you felt you couldn’t make it. This may be because of depression or other factors in your life making you feel as if the day will never end.   Women and children who live with violence in their home are faced with fear and danger every day.  Every day is a struggle to survive.  Victims of sexual assault have to face their violence every day they look in a mirror.  For most victims when they face the person in the mirror they face a remembrance of pain.

 

Counseling victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or survivors of homicide loss is what we do.   We try daily to provide a safe and secure place for victims to go.   A place where they no longer feel completely loss.
